Northern Star Smash Repairs is owned and operated by Tony Bancroft, who has over 25 years of experience repairing and repainting all types of heavy vehicles and machinery, from bull bars to b doubles.

Tony started his career at one of the smash repair industry’s most respected workshops, where for 14 years he learnt the skills and techniques required to deliver fast, reliable service and long-lasting results. He also spent several years working on the Australian Army’s fleet of Land Rovers.

Tony established Northern Star to meet the growing need for industrial crane overhauls and painting in the mid-2000s, growing the business to 15 staff in a few short years. During this time, he and Northern Star became known for being one of Queensland’s premier Terex crane and truck specialists.

Today, Northern Star Smash Repairs continues to be recognised as one of Queensland’s leaders in repairs and painting for heavy, industrial, commercial and leisure vehicles, with a long list of loyal clients from Brisbane to Western Queensland and the top end.

Northern Star’s workshop site features one of Brisbane’s largest and easiest-access facilities, with two 19m drying booths and two 16m preparation booths.
